As well as being hand dug in one to three feet of water, all of the marl is hand-strained to remove any minor amounts of organic 'debris': shells, twigs, leaves, etc. It is then dried and hand sifted to the appropriate texture. Definitely summer- time work!

Marl of Kohnar is currently available in a dry form. This allows you to use various liquids (water, herbal teas, etc.) to moisten the Marl, according to your specific need. Instructions for use are included.
